My schedule’s become very restrictive as of late.
Right now I’m taking several college courses towards earning my certification in special education; add on my daily job and it’s become very difficult to dish out weekly, fleshed out reviews.
As such I’m going to try something different: starting this week until the end of December, the majority of my posts will be Micro Reviews consisting of my brief thoughts towards 2016 films and/or 2015 leftovers. Each Micro Review will consist of 3-5 films (around 50-300 words per film). My goal is too ease up on the blog writing—giving more time and effort towards earning my degree—while still keeping my blog active (albeit in a much quicker-to-make, easier format).
This is not to say, I won’t be writing any longer posts throughout the winter—in fact, I already have one very long review prepared for next week—but that they’ll be much more few and far between. I’m intrigued to see how such temporary change will affect the blog, and, if anything, it’ll be a fun, refreshing experiment to try out.
