So I've finally gotten to see The Wind Rises in theaters after complaining about its early nomination for best animated feature. And while I still disagree with the submission I have to admit, it should have won over Frozen. In fact that’s putting it lightly; The Wind Rises is superior to Frozen in every aspect except for musical (and that’s because it isn't a musical). Along with The Lego Movie it’s the best animated feature I've seen in years; though unlike The Lego Movie it has a more specific target audience.

Spring Breakers (Film Review)
It’s spring break vacation!!! I can’t wait to go swimming, play some Frisbee, and enjoy the sun! Let me just check outside first (before putting on my new swim trunks) and see how the weather’s looking before heading out;
…..WELL (burns swim trunks), looks like I’m having a movie week! Monday, February 24, 2014
The Monuments Men (Film Review)
Have you ever said to yourself; “boy, I wish they made a film where museum directors, curators, and art historians form an army unit during WWII; with a goal to retake stolen art from Nazis”? Neither have I; but that doesn't stop me from enjoying this unique war film about just such an event.

That Awkward Moment (Film Review)
That Awkward Moment should have been called That Wasted Potential. It takes some great talent and places them in a cliché driven film; filled with such an abundance of overused romance-comedy situations that a slightly genre savvy viewer could call every moment twenty scenes before they happen. I will however give some credit to its title; That Awkward Moment can definitely get awkward at times (though not in the way it intended).
